CSA stands for community supported agriculture and it is one of the most direct ways community members can support local farmers. CSA programs provide upfront season-long support to farmers and members are rewarded with access to the freshest local food grown within their communities.
Our CSA program is a 14 week program lasting from June through September, with weekly produce boxes containing 5-7 fresh seasonal vegetables along with the occasional bonus items. We also offer our members free choice of produce; each week we will provide a list of available options and members will get to choose what they want in their box for the week.
The cost of membership is $425 for 14 weekly boxes of produce, payable by check or credit card. Produce box pickup locations include the Arlington Farmers Market on Saturdays 10am-2pm, or on the farm on Tuesdays 2-4pm or Fridays 11am-2pm.

Terms and Conditions
Dates:
The CSA season will run from June 1st through September 28th with 14 weeks of box pickups. There will be no boxes the week of the July 4th holiday, the week of Labor Day Weekend, as well as 2 additional weeks to be announced once we have the Arlington Farmers Market schedule.
Pickup Time and Location:
CSA members will have 2 options for picking up weekly produce boxes, from the Reconnecting Roots Farm stand during the Arlington Farmers Market or on the farm. The Arlington Farmers Market pickup will be from 10am-2pm on Saturdays at the market in Legion Memorial park in Arlington. The on farm pickup will have 2 options for pickup time, Tuesdays from 2-4p, or Fridays from 11am-2pm.
Any boxes left after pick-up times without prior notification, will be donated to the Arlington Food Bank.
Membership Pricing:
The price of a membership for the 14 week season is $425 dollars. Payment can be made with credit card (credit card processing will be
done through Square, payment details will be sent via email) or with a personal check made payable to Reconnecting Roots Farm.
Box Contents:
Each week members boxes will contain 5-7 freshly harvested items. Our CSA operates as a free choice model where members will have the option to choose what they would like in their box based on what is available each week. We will email a list of available items at the beginning of each week and members can send back their selection for the week.
Risks and Rewards of CSA membership:
We are committed to providing our CSA members a wide variety of the healthiest and most flavorful produce possible throughout the season.
However, farming and our harvests are at the whim of nature. Weather, pests, diseases and other unforeseen events can have impacts on production and harvest on the farm and can impact what we deliver in our boxes each week. On the other hand, extra harvests from bumper crops or good growing conditions will be passed on to our CSA members.
By becoming a CSA member you are agreeing to share in the risks and rewards of farming and supporting the community through the highs and lows that come from growing fresh, local food.
